It was initially reported on u2.com that the release was limited to 5000 copies, however it was later confirmed that 9845 units were pressed for sale, and another 1222 copes were used for samples, promotions etc without a number on the back sleeve.

Promo copies exist with a small round promo sticker placed over the barcode.
